I Hate It When My Message Is Negative

I just got off the phone with someone who wanted me to agree to something that actually would be really cool. To me, his proposal clearly falls in the “everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial” column. Usually that would mean that I’d roll over and chose the easy road vs. holding the line, but today… I kept to my convictions and said no!

The response was surprisingly great and it actually meant a different, very positive direction for us. Whew!

I think I’m going to be doing more!
