Labor Day
In the spirit of Labor Day, here are some of the reasons why I love my job:
- I get to concern myself with things that last for eternity
- I get to work with people — never a dull moment
- My day looks different every day. I can schedule all I want, but I am often overruled by interruptions. Some of which are actually totally cool.
- The team of people I get to work with/for are hilarious. They don’t take themselves too seriously (even as we take the gravity of our mission very seriously)
- My hours are flexible enough to break away for milestone family stuff. I got to be there when my kids started school again last week.
- I get to work with kids. Kids are hilarious!
